The David Salon's Cirque du Salon hair show was a huge success. By far the best hair show presented by the David Salon team to date. Celebration's by Turnip Rose was an awesome venue, the food was fantastic and the entertainment did not disappoint. A very special thank you to all who participated. David Salon could not have done it without the contributions, both large and small, by many. Photos and video will be posted soon. We are proud to donate to Human Options.

April is Earth Month
Earth Day is April 22nd
Together We Can! is the David Salon's campaign for 2010. If we each contribute a small amount the sum will be great. Please join us in assistance with Aveda in our combined efforts to raise money and awareness. David Salon's goal is to collect $1200 to contribute to providing clean water to those who do not have the privilege. We greatly appreciate your particpation and support.
David Salon was able to assist With This Ring raise a more than expected $50,000 from haircuts, private donations, and match contributions in the first David Salon Cut-A-Thon. Proceeds form this event were raised to dig wells in Africa to provide clean drinking water. Thank you so much to all who donated so graciously.
Kristine, a David Salon team member traveled to Ghana, Africa with Ali Eastburn, founder of With This Ring to see the well that was donated.

David Salon strongly believes in giving back to our community. Our team members regulary donate time, sevices and monetary contributions to support local organizations.

David Salon offers a complementary haircut to individuals who wish to donate their hair to Locks of Love and meet the hair donation guidelines. There is a $10 service charge to cover cost.
Hair Donation Guidelines
• 10" minimum or longer, ponytail or braid, clean and dry
• Hair that is gently colored (no bleach) or permed is acceptable
• Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches
Hair between 6" and 10" may be donated but it t does not meet the reqirements to be used in making children's hairpieces or for the complementary haircut offer. It will be seperated and sold to help offset manufacturing cost.
David Salon is a proud supporter of Human Options. Team members visit on a monthly basis. Stylist donate their time and talents offering personal haircutting and styling sevices to residents creating new looks that we hope help build self esteem and confidence. In addition, all proceeds from our annual fashion show are donated to Human Options to support their mission and programs. During the holiday season David Salon hosts a Holiday Gift Drive to assist Human Options in providing holiday gifts for the residents. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. David Salon is a proud supporter of the Susan G. Komen For The Cure. You will see David Salon team members proudly sporting their pink shirts, bracelets and ribbons in October. 100% of funds raised in our collection go directly to the cause.
